At Bodhi Works we aim to use film and theatre as provocation. To inspire thought, dialogue and action on ideas and issues that excite and confront humanity, and to give a platform to and incubate Pakistan’s finest performing arts and film talent and stories from the region, with a mission to foster inclusion and diversity.

Bodhi Works (Pvt.) Ltd is a film and video production company founded in 2011 that has produced name critically acclaimed feature, short films, documentaries, music videos and commercial work. Feature films include the Belgium-Pakistani co-production, Noces (A Wedding) that premiered at the 2016 Toronto International Film Festival, and won awards at the Lumiere Awards '17 and Margritte Awards '18 respectively; and, the Pakistani film, Seedlings (Lamha) that won five awards at international film festivals including NYCIFF '12, DCSAFF ' 12 and the SAARC Film Festival where it was officially selected for representation by the Pakistani Government. Short films, documentaries and music videos include narratives such as Ruckus (showcased at TED Global 2012) and The Waves (Honorable Mention, NYIFF '13) that were collaborations with composer and TED Fellow Usman Riaz; Dummy, Groovin in Harlem a documentary on the jazz scene in Harlem, Ishq Kinara (featuring Zoe Viccaji), Jab Koi, Beautiful, etc. Besides narrative work, the company also has an extensive corporate portfolio.

Moreover, Bodhi Work's sister company, Soch Videos, is a multilingual news and documentary community that highlights local stories and offers perspective on global affairs from the Global South. Through our reporting and analysis, we seek to promote social justice, empower citizens, and celebrate human achievement in Pakistan and across the world.
